Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport and spend the night at Jacaranda Hotel.

Day 2: Begin your journey up the mountain thru the official Machame gate and hike to your first camp, at 9,900ft (about 5-6 hours).

Day 3: Hike about 5 or 6 hours to Shira Camp, 12,600ft.

Day 4: Hike between 5-7 hours to Baranco Camp, 12,950ft.

Day 5: Barafu Camp, 14,910ft, after hiking 6 to 7 hours.

Day 6: Arrive at the Kilimanjaro Summit, 19,340ft after hiking 6-7 hours. Descend to Mweka Camp, 10,010ft, about 5-7 hours.

Day 7: Down to Mweka Gate, in about 3-4hours. Transfer to the Jacaranda Hotel in Arusha (1hr).

Day 8: Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport.
